information about each year of your VFMA&C education, grading, testing, graduation
requirements, and college planning. Please take note of the following class
structure used within VFMA:

Class Rank
Rank in class is computed at the end of the junior year, and at the completion
of the first marking period and the first semester of the senior year. Calculations
are based on recommendations of the NASSP and AACRO and include all students and all
major subjects beginning with grade 9 through 12. Honors courses are weighted .05.
Advanced Placement courses are weighted .1.
