Valley Forge Military College - The Military College of Pennsylvania TM, is a private, co-educational, two-year
college enrolling approximately 220 cadets in its first- and second-year programs.
Students benefit from a complete military school education that encompasses a
strong academic program, leadership opportunities, character development, athletic
competition and physical fitness, extracurricular activities and social interaction
with a diverse group of peers.
When cadets leave Valley Forge Military College, they are poised for success.
Some pursue military careers or attend the nation's most respected service
academies. Most of our college graduates continue on to the nation's most
competitive four-year colleges and universities as rising juniors.
The College is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and
Schools and is approved by the Pennsylvania State Council of Education and
the Commission on Higher Education of the Pennsylvania State Department of
Education. The College is a member of the National Association of Independent
Colleges and Universities (NAICU), the Commission on Independent Colleges
and Universities (CICU), and the Association of Military Colleges and Schools
of the United States (AMCSUS).

At Valley Forge Military College will you find...
- The U.S. Army Early Commissioning Program. A two-year program leading
to a commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserve as a
graduating college sophomore. Valley Forge is the only college in the
Northeast that offers this program.
- A Service Academy Preparation Program. Valley Forge has an impressive
preparation for the service academies. Our College has a 99% success rate
in assisting young adults with securing admission to the U.S. Air Force
Academy, the U.S. Military Academy and the U.S. Naval Academy.
- The opportunity to compete in athletic competition that gets noticed.
Valley Forge athletes are routinely recruited by competitive NCAA Division
I and II schools.
- 95% of the VFMC midyear class of 2006 and May class of 2007 applied to four-year colleges and universities; 48% earned Tier 1 & 2 acceptances, while 77% of the graduates received Tier 1, 2, and 3 acceptances. The classes compiled 99 total acceptances; the most popular top tier universities were Drexel, Northeastern, Syracuse, Tulane, University of Miami, and Virginia Tech.
