College Admission Application Process
The following information has been provided to assist you with the
application process. If you have any questions, please contact the
Admissions Office at 1-800-234-VFMC (8362).
Application Process: The submission of a completed Valley Forge
application form with payment of the non-refundable $25 application
fee is required to be classified as an applicant. Upon receipt of an
application, transcripts and guidance counselor evaluation will be
requested from the applicant's present school. A decision cannot be
rendered until the applicant file is complete. To expedite the application
process, please follow these procedures:
- Campus Visit and Tour: All
prospective cadets are encouraged to schedule an interview with an
Admissions Officer in Medenbach Hall. The interviews are conducted on
an appointment basis Monday through Saturday. Contact the office at
1-800-234-VFMC to schedule an appointment either before or after
submitting the application.
- Testing: College applicants
must submit scores from the SAT or ACT examinations. International students
must submit scores from the TOEFL examination.
- Medical:
- Medications: If the student is on medication,
there is no need to take him/her off the medication prior to attending Valley
Forge. However, you must supply a doctor’s note describing the type,
dosage and reason for the medication on the physician's letterhead.
- Physicals: All students are required to have
a recent (after 1 June 2008) physical examination, completed by a
physician and submitted to our Health Center prior to arrival at
Valley Forge. The physical form will be sent with the Reporting Orders after the student is notified of acceptance. All immunizations must be
updated and submitted with the physical exam.
- Acceptance and Tuition Deposit:
Once you have received written notification of acceptance, you must submit
a Tuition Deposit Fee of $500 payable to VFMC to reserve as space in
the incoming class. This payment, credited toward the cost of tuition,
verifies your intent to matriculate.
- Wait List: In the event of
enrollment beyond the accommodation capacity of the barracks, a waiting list
will be established, based on deposit date.
- Payment: 100% of the cost of
school is due prior to arrival. Please consult the
Billing and Payment Policies handout
for complete billing and payment information.
Please email the Admissions Office
or call 1-800-234-VFMC if you have any questions.
