Musical opportunities abound for you at the Forge!
Your Valley Forge experience can include performing in the Regimental Band,
which has played at the White House; the Regimental Choir, which has sung
in New York's Carnegie Hall; or Field Music, which participates
in competitions and parades throughout the year.
The Regimental Band has performed
for U.S. presidents, royalty and countless military and civilian events both
at home and abroad. All members of the Band, which includes the
Heraldic Fanfare Trumpets, have music scholarships, and all receive music
theory instruction.
The Regimental Choir consists of
members selected by audition from the Corps of Cadets. Their varied repertoire
of sacred, secular and patriotic music enables this ensemble to serve as
Choir for the school's Sunday Chapel Services, as well as for numerous civic
and military functions. Choir cadets are awarded scholarships for their
vocal talents.
Field Music , a skilled unit
made up of cadet volunteers, is a unique drum and bugle ensemble. The
unit maintains a busy performance schedule in parades and competitions
and allows a cadet to become part of a highly trained musical team.
