    Jamieson Bilella is the Vice President for Enrollment Management & Marketing for Valley Forge Military Academy & College, overseeing recruitment, retention, and marketing efforts for student enrollment in the Academy, College, and e-Forge Online.

    “Jamieson brings over 20 years of experience working in the higher education, consulting, and technology, as well as a robust knowledge of marketing and non-traditional student recruitment and retention,” said Dr. Stacey R. Sauchuk, President. “We are confident that his vision and leadership make him right person for the job to achieve our enrollment objectives.”

    Prior to joining Valley Forge, Mr. Bilella served Associate Dean for the Office of Extended Learning and Special Academic Programs at Montclair State University. Mr. Bilella’s key areas of responsibility are the development, marketing, recruitment, market research, and operation of the office of Extended Learning and Special Academic programs which include fully online degree programs, Summer Sessions, Winter Session, the University’s K-12 Academically Gifted and Talented program, and professional/continuing education and certificate programs. He and his team have increased enrollment in all of the areas and successfully launched two fully online graduate degree programs and established the necessary infrastructure and supports for students and faculty.

    He has reengineered department business processes, researched student preferences, faculty compensation, facility utilization, and effectively deployed technological solutions to streamline several operations. Passionate about data mining and meeting students’ needs, he collects and analyzes quantitative and qualitative data to identify key opportunities to better address student and strategic institutional goals. He has also developed and executed new multimedia marketing and advertising strategies by incorporating web based advertising, email tools, and social networking, in an effort to provide students and parents with more timely information about the University’s offerings and opportunties for student success. He has presented at national conferences on various facets of enrollment management, enrollment marketing, and data mining. He has published on the application of Google Analytics and data mining techniques to enrollment management and higher education.

    He recently completed his term as the President of the North American Association of Summer Sessions, and now serves as Immediate Past President. In addition to serving on the Executive and Administrative Council of the Association, he is a member of the association’s Elections and Nominations committee and the Quality and Research committee.

    Prior to working at Montclair State, Mr. Bilella was the Dean of Academic Operations at DeVry University, where he was responsible for academic operations, department budgeting, the Registrar’s office, academic policy, tutoring, advisement, and marketing the summer trimester. Prior to this position, he served as Associate Dean for Business and Information Systems Programs, and concurrently taught business systems, computer applications, and management courses.

    Mr. Bilella holds an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University Graduate School of Management, and a BA in Economics with Honors from Drew University and has completed Harvard University’s Management and Leadership in Education program.
