Valley Forge Military College announces that any currently enrolled or accepted ITT Technical Institute student will receive a $5000 tuition grant toward tuition at Valley Forge Military College. “Valley Forge appreciates the challenges facing these students who attended or expected to attend ITT Tech this fall. Our team is standing by to assist them in any way we can,” said Colonel John Church, USMCR, President of Valley Forge Military Academy and College. “With this tuition assistance, VFMC invites and welcomes any student from ITT to the VFMC campus. We will provide financial assistance to enable them to reach their academic goals,” said Dean of the Valley Forge Military College, Maureen Malone. Dean Malone added that the College will construct an academic plan in consult with each student to identify which courses and earned credits may be transferable.
Vice President for Enrollment Management, Jamie Bilella added, “This grant is available to any ITT Tech student who enrolls now for the fall semester or for our spring 2017 semester, which begins in January. We want to provide a pathway for students to stay on track toward their degree goals and help them finish their academic journey.”
Pennsylvania State Senator Robert Mensch, a proud graduate of Valley Forge Military College, who earned his degree in business, was not surprised by his alma mater’s efforts. Senator Mensch has helped constituents from Pennsylvania’s 24th Senatorial district on a variety of issues ranging from education to veterans’ affairs to public health and welfare. “I am very supportive of Valley Forge Military College’s efforts to help ITT Tech students who are in need of additional support during these difficult times,” said Mensch. “VFMC has an impressive reputation of aiding students who want to pursue their degree. I am positive that these efforts will help these ITT Tech students reach their academic goal.”
