Ways to Give
You’ve probably heard of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday. But have you heard of #GivingTuesday?
#GivingTuesday is the charitable response to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We all enjoy the chance to get a great deal but after two days of buying it feels right to have a day dedicated to giving back. #GivingTuesday is a meaningful way to kick off the season of giving. This National Day of Giving takes place the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving – November 28, 2017.
Since it began in 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy. Join the movement and give back on #GivingTuesday.
- We’re celebrating the 90th Corp of Cadets with a goal of receiving 90 new donations on #GivingTuesday.
- Col Church, VFMAC President, will make a $5 gift for every donation made between Monday, November 27 until 11:59PM on #GivingTuesday, November 28, 2017.
- If VFMAC achieves the goal of 50 online donations on Giving Tuesday – a generous alumni donor will give $1,000 to the Forge Fund.
