Cory Stein Memorial Scholarships

Application Deadline for Fall Semester 2022: July 31, 2022

Between 12 and 20 scholarships and grants between $25,000 and $35,000 each will be awarded to qualified students for the fall semester. Between 8 and 10 scholarships and grants between $10,000 and $20,000 each will be awarded to qualified students. 

In addition to filling out and submitting this application, applicants must submit an application to attend Valley Forge Military Academy and an application for financial need.

The award of these scholarships and grants are competitive and renewable upon attainment of required criteria. The award supports the efforts of academically able students who are good citizens, who seek leadership roles in their communities and the world, and who demonstrate financial need.

Once accepted as a Cory Stein Scholar, the cadet shall enter into a written contract to be signed by the cadet, the adult member responsible for the cadet, and VFMA which shall provide, as follows:

1. Following the initial semester attended by the recipient, the Grant and Scholarship shall be subject to termination unless the cadet maintains a cumulative grade point average not less than 2.8 or at least an 85% average. This requirement shall apply cumulatively including the initial semester and second semester and thereafter.

2. The Grant and Scholarship shall be subject to termination if the cadet has been found guilty of an infraction of the VFMA Code of Cadet Conduct resulting in dismissal from The Academy.

3If the cadet complies with numbers 1 & 2, the VFMA Academy Grant and Cory Stein Memorial Scholarship will be renewed one semester at a time through the cadet’s graduation following successful completion of 12th grade.

4. Renewal shall be subject to a prior review and approval of updated documents demonstrating ongoing financial need at the same level, with possible adjustment if financial need then becomes less based upon improved financial circumstances.

The grant and scholarship supports the efforts of academically able students who are good citizens and who seek leadership roles in their communities and the world.
