  • Arrive Paris … travel to Caen
  • Historic tour of Caen
  • Check-in to Hotel Mercure Centre – Port de Plaisance
  • Welcome dinner at hotel (D)

Tuesday, August 16th:

  • Visit Caen D-Day Memorial … lunch at Memorial
  • Tour Merville Battery
  • Tour Pegasus Memorial
  • Visit British cemetery (B & L)

Wednesday, August 17th:

  • Visit Ouistreham (No. 4 Commando Museum)
  • Tour Atlantic Wall Museum
  • Visit Sword Beach & Juno Beach
  • Visit the Bayeux Tapestry (B)

Thursday, August 18th:

  • Travel to Longues sur Mer Battery
  • Visit Arromanches (Mulberry) museum
  • Tour Musee at Tilly – sur- Seulle
  • Travel in and around the battlefields of Caen
  • Explore the Battle of Hill 112
  • Tour Abbaye De Ardenne (B)

Friday, August 19th:

  • Depart Caen for La Tronquay

Saturday, August 20th:

  • Visit 101st Abn battle area in Carentan
  • Travel to Mont. Ste. Michel… check-in to the Mercure Hotel

  • Tour Mont Ste. Michel & the Abbey
  • Travel to Montormel & the battle museum
  • Travel in & around Falaise
  • Drive to Evereux … check-in to the Hotel Best Western Evreux (B&D)

Thursday, August 25th:

  • Travel to Giverny & tour Monet’s House & gardens
  • Drive to La Roche Guyon for a castle visit
  • Travel to Versailles for a palace visit
  • Arrive Paris, check in to the Hotel Trianon Rive Gauche (B)

Friday, August 26th:

  • Paris overview tour
  • Remainder of the day free at leisure (B)

Saturday, August 27th:

  • Day at leisure
  • Evening Seine dinner cruise with Bateaux Parisiens (B & D)

Sunday, August 28th:

  • Fly home to USA from CDG Airport (B)
