Valley Forge Military College (VFMC) is pleased to announce that its Center for Advancement of Security Studies will be renamed in honor of LTG H.R. McMaster ’80, ‘17H, National Security Advisor to the President of the United States and esteemed alumnus of Valley Forge Military Academy. The Center will be renamed as the H.R. McMaster Center for Security Studies.
VFMC’s H.R. McMaster Center for Security Studies, or The McMaster Center, is a virtual coordinating center that houses faculty expertise to develop programs, manage outreach, create internship opportunities, and share information to serve students, academics, military professionals, industry leaders, and policy makers. The Center directly supports students enrolled in the Justice & Security Studies major with resources provided by the faculty who are both practitioners and scholars. Additionally, Center activities, resources, and faculty are available to all students who have an interest in these subjects.
In addition, LTG McMaster was conferred of an honorary degree from Valley Forge Military College.
A dedication ceremony is scheduled for Spring 2018.
